Scapa Flow is one of Britain’s most historic stretches of water – located within the Orkney Islands, off the northeast coast of Scotland. It’s sheltered waters have been used by ships since prehistory and it has played an important role in travel, trade and conflict throughout the centuries – especially during both World Wars.



How much is it ?

  • Non – members £495 per person
  • LGS  Club Members – £450 per person.
  • £50 deposit (for all)  to be paid to LGS on booking
  • All money to be paid by 21st  April 2014

What does it include ?

  • Up to 14 Dives – (trips to surrounding Islands if Scapa is blown out)
  • Breakfast and Lunch on board
  • Accommodation on board  – if you don’t want to stay on board,  Bed and Breakfast available on shore at extra cost – (please tell us at the time of booking so we can book it for you).
  • 12 & 15 ltr cylinders (air) are available on board and included in the price.

What doesn’t it include?

  • Transport to and from Scapa Flow (1400 mile round trip so car sharing is advised – ask us as we will try and plan it in if you want us to)
  • Ferry from Scrabster to Stromness – ( approx. £70 per person including Car)
  • Evening refreshments –  (evening meal and drinks are not included)
  • Nitrox and/or Oxygen fills

What Dives will we be doing?

  • Liveaboard cruise diving that takes in the best of Scapa Flow and surrounding Islands
  • Wreck diving on the German high seas fleet scuttled in Scapaflow in 1919
  • Battleships, SMS Konig, Kronprinz Wilhelm and Markgraf
  • Cruisers SMS Brummer. Coln Dresden and Carlsruhe
  • Top quality scenic diving
  • Evening dives available

When do I need to confirm?

  • Please let us know if you would like to go on our trip as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
  • Club members will get priority up to end October 2013 – if you are not a LGS club member now is your chance to join.
  • 12 spaces available so book early.  Reserve list will be created once we have received 12 deposits

Letsgoscuba terms and Conditions

  • Minimum dive qualification  is Advanced Open Water Diver with Deep specialty
  • You have to have at least 50 logged dives including 10 Sea dives
  • Letsgoscuba club member are covered by our club insurance
  • If you are not a Letsgoscuba club member and do not have insurance, we recommend you get insurance (it’s probably cheaper to join as a club member than buy insurance) here’s the form LGS Membership
  • If you cancel your booking, we will try and fill your place from our reserve list, if we cannot fill your place then this trip is non refundable.

What next/ how do I book ?

  • You can book over the phone, at the Dive Centre or   use our online form and we will come back to you
  • A booking form will be provided
  • Payment instalments is acceptable but the full amount must be paid  by 21st April 2014
